After spending hours starring at a computer screen in class.. and then coming home and spending the rest of the night on facebook or watching tv shows off my laptop, I realized I needed a break! And whats better than painting :) I have classes on Wednesday evenings from 5-8. It's very relaxed, I can basically paint whatever I want and the teacher just comes by giving some input. This painting was actually based on a newspaper headline 'Vene veteen ja tuleen' So 'boat for fire and water'.. this is what I came up with :) I don't think it's quite finished.. but I kind of became sick of painting it so I just decided to bring it home.
And it was a perfect fit for the one window in my apartment that has no curtain on it!
